REDUCING EMISSIONS
Reducing emissions for a better future
As part of our commitment to the environmental future, we ensure full compliance with NZ Climate Standards requirements regarding emissions measurement and recording and in 2021, our parent company Freightways was named a Top 10 Carbon Reducer by Toitū Envirocare.

On an ongoing basis, we measure and track our carbon emissions, allowing us to monitor our progress, assess key areas requiring action and reduce accordingly.

The New Zealand Couriers team supports a number of charities by providing logistical support, donations and other valuable services.
REDUCING PLASTICS
Reducing fossil-based virgin plastic use
We’re committed to reducing the amount of virgin plastics we use and ensuring the rest are either reusable, recyclable or upcycled.
We now use 80%+ recycled content (which would have been previously bound for landfill) in the manufacturing process.

To ensure that our suppliers share these values, we are fully aligned with the Freightways Supplier Code of Conduct. The Freightways Supplier Code of Conduct outlines our minimum expectations for suppliers providing goods and services to New Zealand Couriers. We expect our suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and adhere to the standards and principles set out in this Code in their business activities, operations, and supply chains.
