How we did it

We didn’t just rely on our own expertise.

We worked with international data and insights giant, Kantar.

What we learned

  1. Customer expectations in the B2B sector have lifted sharply. Businesses now look for faster delivery, clearer visibility and service levels that feel closer to B2C, and 87% say courier performance directly influences customer satisfaction.
  2. Transparency now sits at the heart of the delivery experience. 82% of B2B businesses consider full tracking visibility essential, with sectors like Automotive and Healthcare depending heavily on accuracy, compliance and real-time monitoring.
  3. Technology is becoming a priority. 45% of organisations plan to invest in AI and automation within the next two years, aiming for smarter fulfilment, better insights and more efficient operations.
  4. Economic pressure continues to shape decision making. Rising costs, labour shortages, global uncertainty and cybersecurity risks are pushing businesses to rethink how they plan, invest and manage their supply chains.
  5. Reliability has overtaken price as the main driver for switching couriers. Businesses name reliability as the number one reason for changing providers, reinforcing the need for consistent delivery and strong tracking performance.
